What You'll See on Your Pop Culture Tour of England

This Tour of England is perfect for those with a passion for British pop culture: if you love The Beatles, Harry Potter, and soccer, then this is the trip for you. You’ll visit the great cities of London, Liverpool, and Manchester, where you’ll enjoy numerous tours given by local experts. With Tourlane, you’re able to plan and book everything in one place—flights, transfers, guides, and accommodation. You’ll also have 24-hour customer service available to you throughout your trip to England.

London

London

Your Pop Culture Tour of England begins in London, where you’ll spend three nights in a luxury hotel in the city center. A special city tour of London in an iconic black taxi is included in your vacation package. Witness the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace after swinging by Big Ben. Cross Westminster Bridge to take in the beauty of Westminster Abbey. Beatles fans should head to Abbey Road and visit their iconic studios.  Film buffs will be delighted to hear that a day at the magnificent Harry Potter Studio is also included in your tour package.

Liverpool

Liverpool

Next, you’ll travel by train in first class to the northwest city of Liverpool, where you’ll spend two nights. Entrance to The Beatles Story Museum is including in your vacation package, where you’ll learn about the swinging 60s that helped propel them towards Beatlemania. You’ll even stay in the world’s only Beatles-inspired luxury hotel. You’ll also be offered a place on a  special Magic Mystery Tour, a two-hour themed bus journey around Beatles Liverpool. Before you leave, we also recommend taking a ferry ride across the River Mersey, which provides stunning views of Albert Dock.

Manchester

After approximately 50 minutes on the train, you’ll arrive in Manchester, where you’ll spend two nights. On a guided walking tour of the city, you’ll stroll among the red-brick walls of a city once at the heart of an industrial revolution. The sound of Britpop was immortalized by local rock ‘n’ roll favorites Oasis, and before their rise, The Smiths, cementing the city’s reputation for cutting edge music. A live venue is a must here for music fans. If you’re passionate about sports, a tour of Old Trafford Museum and Stadium (home to the world-famous Manchester United soccer team) is included in your tour package.
