Live like a Clan Chief on a tour of bonnie Scotland. Start in Edinburgh rubbing the nose of Greyfriars Bobby, a statue of the nation’s most beloved dog. Walk a Royal Mile worthy of a procession towards a castle built on volcanic rock. Driving the coast north to Aberdeen, smile as dolphins jump over waves of the North Sea. Heading west, be on the lookout for a Loch Ness Monster known as “Nessie,” before arriving in Glasgow, a city with enough cultural hotspots and chatty locals to have you dancing the night away.

Travel Itinerary

Destination 1: Edinburgh

Begin in Old Town on the cobblestones of the Royal Mile. The walls of Edinburgh Castle provide a backdrop for busking bagpipers—it’s quite the spectacle. Dig into fish n chips at a pub that’s centuries older than the USA, before visiting the National Museum and a Grand Gallery that’s full of Scottish innovation. Scale a mountain named Arthur’s Seat for cinematic views of a traditional and lively city.

Destination 2: Aberdeen

Drive the east coast to St Andrews, home of the oldest golf course in the world and the ruins of St Andrews Cathedral. High tea is a thing here, so fuel up on cakes and tea—just save a little room in the tank for Aberdeen. By the North Sea, stand on sand dunes at Balmedie Beach and spot a pod of bottlenose dolphins after walking the Brig o’ Balgownie in Seaton Park. Fancy Angus beef dry-aged for a month? So do we.

Destination 3: Inverness

Start your day in Inverness with a boat ride across the Loch Ness in search of a monster known to rise like mist from freshwater. Even if you don't see Nessie, the epic surroundings more than make up for it—in the Scottish Highlands views are a beautiful distraction. On land explore Clava Cairns ancient stones that stand tall among mossy grass—up north, history and nature are inseparable. Get ready for an evening hootenanny, a dance where kilts swirl to the sound of stomping feet.

Destination 4: Glasgow

Your tour ends in the cultural hub of Glasgow. After a morning exploring the serene cemetery, Glasgow Necropolis, explore the lanes of the trendy West End, swinging by Ashton Lane to enjoy bistro bites and a funky cocktail. Spend an afternoon admiring Dali’s masterpiece Christ of St John of the Cross at Kelvingrove Museum. A pint in a pub where local “Weegies” share tall stories, caps off a perfect vacation.
