A trip to Bath promises a romantic atmosphere in a city with thousands of years of history. Let yourself be transported back to ancient times in the well-preserved Roman baths and visit the beautiful Bath Abbey with its magnificent west façade and monastery tower. Continue your romantic journey through time with the Royal Crescent, a crescent-shaped street that houses, among other things, a museum about the life of the upper classes in the late 18th century, as well as the Jane Austen Centre. Finally, the Pulteney Bridge is a great place to stroll in the evening light.

The 2,000-year-old Roman Baths are among the best-preserved Roman ruins in the world, making them one of the highlights of your Bath trip. An interactive museum, costumed characters and award-winning audio guides bring history to life. You can also sample the thermal waters for yourself at the neoclassical-style Pump Room attached to the complex.
The origins of Britain's largest medieval church date back more than 1,000 years; it was rebuilt in the Anglo-Norman style in the 12th century and finally restored in the 16th century. Admire the magnificent west façade with its figures of climbing angels or climb the 212 steps up to the cloister tower for a great view of the city and surrounding area, the choir window with 56 scenes from the life of Jesus Christ is also spectacular.
The Royal Crescent is a very special street: 30 pretty Georgian houses, built between 1767 and 1774, are lined up here in a semi-circle. The first house to be built was No. 1 Royal Crescent, which you can visit today as a museum to immerse yourself in the life of the British upper classes of the late 18th century among original furniture and works of art from the period.
The famous writer Jane Austen lived in Bath for several years, which is why the Jane Austen Centre is dedicated to her. It is not only about the life of the writer herself, but also about the society, fashion and food of the time and how all these things influenced Austen's work. The center also has a souvenir store and a cozy tea room.
Pulteney Bridge was built in the 1770s in the Palladian style. What is unusual about it is that there are stores on both sides of the bridge, so you can enjoy a unique shopping experience in a romantic atmosphere. It is particularly beautiful here when the lights are on in the evening.
