Corviglia

Reachable via a steep, classic funicular directly from the village center, Corviglia is the sun-drenched, sporting heart of St. Moritz. In the winter, it offers world-class, immaculately groomed ski slopes that have historically hosted two Winter Olympics and numerous Alpine World Ski Championships. During the warmer months, the snow melts to reveal a vibrant, rugged paradise for hikers and downhill mountain bikers, complete with stylish mountain clubs serving champagne on panoramic terraces.

Muottas Muragl

For arguably the most spectacular, breathtaking vantage point in the entire Engadine region, ride the historic, 1907 vintage funicular up to Muottas Muragl. Hovering at 2,456 meters, the summit provides an unparalleled, sweeping panorama over the unique plateau of the Upper Engadine lake district and the jagged Bernina massif. It is widely considered the absolute best spot in the valley to watch the sunset paint the snow-capped peaks in brilliant shades of pink and gold.

Piz Nair

Rising dramatically above Corviglia to an altitude of 3,057 meters, this towering peak is easily accessed by a spectacular, steep cable car ride. As you step out at the summit, you are greeted by the iconic, life-sized bronze statue of an ibex standing guard over the valley. The rugged, high-alpine terrain offers thrilling, advanced ski descents in the winter and challenging, panoramic hiking trails that make you feel as though you are standing on top of the world.

The Leaning Tower (Schiefer Turm)

Tucked away in the village center, this fascinating, slightly gravity-defying landmark is one of the most photographed spots in St. Moritz. Dating back to the 12th century, the 33-meter-high stone tower is the only surviving remnant of the demolished St. Mauritius Church.
