What I always tell people about the Giant's Causeway: it is genuinely one of the more extraordinary natural formations in the British Isles, and the coastal road connecting it to the other northern headlands — the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, the ruins of Dunluce Castle above the sea — makes the full excursion worthwhile even if the causeway itself were the only stop. Go as early as the tour allows.
