Resting over the banks of the Danube River in northeastern Austria, Vienna, the country’s capital city, is famous for its classical music heritage and reflects an enticing blend of old and new. The Swarovski Kristallwelten Shuttle runs five times daily between Innsbruck and Swarovski Crytal World in Wattens.

The Sound of Music private bike tour from Salzburg is the right form for that particular itinerary staple. On two wheels at your own pace through the city's filming locations and gardens — the Mirabell, the Nonnberg, the Hellbrunn — the film sites read differently from the same circuit covered on a group bus, and the city itself is compact enough that the bike is the most pleasurable way to navigate it.
