Founded long before the Italian state—or even the Roman Republic—Naples holds an unparalleled collection of Greek and Roman artifacts. There’s truly no place like it: vast, gritty, and chaotic, yet this modern-day energy plays out against a dramatic backdrop of grand historical piazzas, world-class museums, and stunning Baroque architecture. As the birthplace of pizza and a contender for the richest food scene in a country celebrated for its cuisine, Naples is a paradise for food lovers, offering a dazzling array of local dishes and gourmet experiences.
Palazzo Turchini is located in the heart of Naples' historic centre, close to the main harbours, Molo Beverello and Calata Porta di Massa. The tour starts with the visit of the Roman city of Pompeii ruins, the most famous and evocative archeological site in the world and “the Big Giant” is what made it immortal, caused the destruction of this city in AD 79.Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius tour is available all over the year and it starts from Naples city centre every day.First, our tour guide will show you the landmarks of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, such as: the thermal baths, the frescos of the Lupanare, the Macellum and the Basilica. In case of ongoing maintenance work of some villas or buildings for restoration or other exceptional circumstances, the tour guide will replace the visit with an alternative interesting ancient building to visit. After Pompeii, drive up the mount Vesuvius and stop in a local resturant located in a panoramic place along the volcano slopes. Enjoy your wine tasting with local and genuine food. Whereupon our driver will lead you to 1000 mt. and than you will walk to the real top of the volcano to see the crater. At the summit, you can enjioy the explanation made by a professional tour guide of the National Park, or just peek into the crater on your own. You will admire the summit of Mount Somma (1133 mt.) and to the right the cone of Vesuvius (1281 mt.), both separated by a valley, called Valley of the Giant. Mt.Vesuvius is majestic and stunning at the same time. It is absolutely worth visiting it!

The picturesque Greek town of Rethymno, set on the honey-coloured shores of the northern coast of Crete, offers a rare combination of history and modern-day luxury, with its ornate Venetian-era old town, tropical beaches, welcoming warm water, and mouth-watering Cretan cuisine. Rethymno provides a lively atmosphere and an eclectic mix of architectural gems. Explore alluring museums, beautiful churches, and historically significant landmarks. Most iconic among these are the magical Fortezza of Rethymno, the insightful Archeological Museum, the striking Guora Gate, and the magnificent Municipal Garden. In the heart of the magical old town lies the picture-perfect Venetian Harbour (possibly the most romantic area of the city), travellers can enjoy tavern-lined streets and admire the views over the azure, boat-bobbed waters.

On our return journey, we’ll follow a smooth asphalt route along the national road, guiding us back to Rethymnon town.
