The Six Bridges boat trip in Porto is the right way to open the city stay, and it's the activity I always place first. The Dom Luís I and Infante Dom Henrique bridges are both most legible from the water, and crossing to the Vila Nova de Gaia cellars on foot afterward places the wine culture in its proper geographic context. For Seville, the flamenco dinner combination is stronger than a standalone show; the transition from the tapas table to the performance space keeps the evening coherent rather than split into two separate experiences. The Amalfi Coast from Naples earns more when Ravello gets the morning slot: the Villa Rufolo garden and the belvedere above the coast are at their best before the tour buses climb from Amalfi below.

Day 1 - 2
Located in northern Portugal along the Douro River estuary, the old sailing port of Porto is a World Heritage Site and the second-largest city in the country. While retaining the timeless charm of a small town, Porto also has many of the modern advantages of a metropolis. Browse the expansive art collection at the Soares dos Reis National Museum, view the ornate interior of the Church of Sao Francisco, and explore the medieval maze of stairways and terraces in the old quarter of Ribeira. Don’t miss the chance to visit the Vila Nova de Gaia area to sample some of Porto’s famous Port wine. Other popular attractions include the 12th-century Porto Cathedral, Clerigos Tower and the Harry-Potteresque Livraria Lello bookshop, showcasing some magnificent neo-gothic architecture.

Experience Porto from the water on the iconic 6 Bridges Cruise, operated by traditional Rabelo boats—vessels once used to transport Port wine barrels from the Douro Valley to the cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto.
Today, these historic boats have been fully adapted for passenger comfort and safety, equipped with modern navigation systems while preserving their authentic character. During this approximately 50‑minute cruise, you will sail along the Douro River from Porto’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, upstream to Freixo and downstream to the mouth of the Douro, where the river meets the Atlantic Ocean.
Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia and discover the history and architectural significance of the six iconic bridges that connect the two cities. The cruise also highlights key landmarks and points of interest on both riverbanks, offering a unique perspective on Porto’s rich heritage, culture, and landscapes.
A relaxing and informative experience, the 6 Bridges Cruise is an ideal way to discover the soul of Porto from the river that shaped its history.
Day 3 - 4
Welcome to Seville, the passionate heart of Andalusia, a city that effortlessly blends rich history with vibrant modern life! This enchanting capital is truly famous for its fiery flamenco dancing, where passion ignites on every stage, its delectable tapas culture that invites endless culinary exploration, and its magnificent Moorish architecture that speaks volumes of its diverse past.
You can expect to be transported back in time as you explore the grand Seville Cathedral, home to Christopher Columbus's tomb and its iconic Giralda tower, offering breathtaking views of the city. Wander through the ethereal beauty of the Royal Alcázar palace and its serene gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage site, marveling at the intricate tilework and tranquil courtyards. Then, soak in the grandeur of the expansive Plaza de España, a stunning architectural masterpiece.
Seville's warm, inviting charm and its deep, palpable history make it an inspiring and utterly unforgettable destination. Don't miss the chance to experience a traditional flamenco show in the Triana neighborhood or enjoy an evening stroll along the Guadalquivir River – it’s a city that truly lives and breathes its heritage.

Experience one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world - Seville Cathedral, a masterpiece full of history and art. Built in the 15th century on the foundations of a former mosque, it impresses with its enormous vaults, magnificent chapels and works by great artists such as Murillo.
A highlight is the ascent to the Giralda, the former minaret that now serves as a bell tower. Once at the top, you can enjoy a spectacular view over Seville, all the way to the Alcázar. The tomb of Christopher Columbus is also located in the cathedral, giving the visit additional historical significance.
The tour includes an audio guide, which is included in the price - so you won't miss a single detail.
Day 5 - 7
Set on Spain’s gorgeous southeastern coast, the capital and largest city of the Catalonia region, Barcelona, is an exquisite, seaside metropolis. With its dizzying array of architecture and its world-class galleries and museums, artistic delights abound at every corner (most strikingly in the astonishingly whimsical structures designed by the prolific modernist architect Antoni Gaudi). Explore the winding alleys of the picturesque Gothic Quarter, take in the boisterous carnival atmosphere of the world famous, tree-lined La Rambla boulevard, or go on a gastronomical adventure through the city's restaurants. Head to one of the gorgeous white sandy beaches and when the sun sets, join the eclectic all-night party scene. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the phenomenal Sagrada Familia, take in an opera at the sublime Palau de la Musica Catalana, and watch a game at the famous Camp Nou stadium.

Flamenco, a vibrant mixture of dance, song, and guitar, is the heart and soul of Spain. It has evolved alongside the contrasting historic influences of Arabic, Jewish, and Gypsy cultures. Ava Gardner or Hemingway — all of them loved Flamenco. With this show, you will enjoy the best pure Flamenco in a mythical venue of Barcelona. Heart, soul, and the complete surrender of the artists to their craft is what it is all about. Complete the experience with one drink.
Day 8 - 11
Presided over by the mighty Mount Vesuvius and with the extraordinary archaeological site of Pompeii on its doorstep, the historic Mediterranean city of Naples is steeped in centuries of fascinating history. Founded long before the Italian state—or even the Roman Republic—Naples holds an unparalleled collection of Greek and Roman artifacts. There’s truly no place like it: vast, gritty, and chaotic, yet this modern-day energy plays out against a dramatic backdrop of grand historical piazzas, world-class museums, and stunning Baroque architecture. As the birthplace of pizza and a contender for the richest food scene in a country celebrated for its cuisine, Naples is a paradise for food lovers, offering a dazzling array of local dishes and gourmet experiences.

The twisty road, suspended between the sea and the slopes of Lattari Mountains, offers a stunning view of the overhanging shore. You will have the chance to take several photos during brief stops. Enjoy a lunch in a restaurant overlooking the sea and then relax yourself visiting Amalfi town, which is the heart and the soul of the coast. Here, there will be enough free time to go shopping and to visit the Cathedral, which dominates from the top of its majestic stairs. During the free time you can also attend a short boat trip (optional) to discover the famous villas of Amalfi and to take amazing photos of the cliff from the sea. At the end of your tour Amalfi coast you will reach Ravello town, that is a top hill town overlooking on the entire coast. Here, you will have other free time and you could enjoy the optional visit to the gardens of Villa Rufolo, made up of exotic and Mediterranean flora species. Amidst vertiginous slopes and sheer cliffs, the twisty road, which leads to the Amalfi coast, runs like a balcony suspended between the cobalt blue sea and the slopes of Lattari mountains. Enjoy a photo stop by the picturesque Positano with its colorful houses.

Porto to Seville to Barcelona, then Naples — four cities across eleven days, each with its own distinct identity. The jump from Barcelona to Naples is one of the more satisfying transitions in Southern European travel: from Catalan invention and Mediterranean energy directly into the Bay of Naples, with Vesuvius on the horizon and the Amalfi Coast spreading south. By the time the Amalfi and Ravello excursion takes you above the cliff roads, the port wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia already feel like a different journey.
What I always tell people about Seville: the Cathedral and Alcázar are both best visited in the morning before the organized tours from Madrid and Málaga fill the courtyards. The Santa Cruz quarter in the late afternoon, when the light catches the orange trees and the tiles on the building facades, is the most rewarding version of Seville's old town.
Hotel: NEYA Porto
Two nights with the city tour, the Six Bridges boat trip, and the Ribeira district. The lodge cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia across the Dom Luís I Bridge are the practical complement to the boat trip — the Douro from the water first, then the port wine tradition in context on the south bank.
Hotel: H10 Casa de la Plata
Two nights with the Cathedral walking tour, the flamenco show with dinner, and the historic neighborhoods. The flamenco show works best in an intimate venue rather than a large staged production — the H10 Casa de la Plata is well-placed for the best small tablao options in the Santa Cruz quarter.
Hotel: H10 Cubik
Three nights with the skip-the-line Sagrada Familia visit, Park Güell, and the Gothic Quarter and local neighborhoods. The Sagrada Familia at opening is the building at its most extraordinary — the colored glass light on the nave floor at that hour rewards the early start completely.
Hotel: Royal Continental Hotel
Three nights with the Amalfi Coast tour including Amalfi and Ravello, and time in the historic center. The approach to Positano and Amalfi along the corniche is best from the east, where the road descends toward the towns from above and the view opens up gradually. Ravello above Amalfi in the morning, before the coaches from Naples arrive, is the most atmospheric version of the coast.
The best time to travel for this multi-country trip is during the shoulder seasons of spring and fall. These seasons offer a perfect balance of pleasant weather, ideal for exploring cities like Lisbon and Madrid, while avoiding the intense heat and heavy crowds of the peak summer months.

Outstanding travel company—would book again anytime

Very friendly and knowledgeable advisor
Top travel company—we’d book again anytime. My travel consultant was very friendly: I shared what we had in mind, and she planned the trip for us. She was also able to make adjustments when something didn’t quite fit—everything went perfectly. Afterwards, customer service took care of us and was quick to help. The trip itself was a dream. It’s also worth mentioning that we had a local guide we could message with any questions. Excellent support, and the Tourlane app was perfect—everything we needed right at hand on our phone. Many thanks to everyone who supported us on this trip.
She listened carefully to all my wishes and ideas, gave me excellent advice, and made everything happen. All my questions were answered, and I feel very well taken care of. Thank you so much!
