The White Villages and Ronda full-day from Seville is the excursion I'd protect first on the Andalusian leg. The limestone plateau approach to Ronda and the gorge view from the Puente Nuevo are images no city walking tour delivers, and the drive back through Arcos de la Frontera in the late afternoon adds a second architectural register for free. The paella and cooking class in Barcelona positions the food thread early; by the time you reach Tuscany and Santorini, you've built enough culinary context to compare rather than simply consume. For the Santorini finale in Imerovigli, the caldera path walk before dawn is five minutes from the hotel: that first morning light on the volcanic cliff face before the cruise ships anchor is the defining image of the island.

Day 1 - 2
The beautiful city of Lisbon lies draped across a string of seven hills on the western Iberian Peninsula and is the westernmost and oldest city in western Europe. Its long and tumultuous history has resulted in an aesthetic characterised by a haphazard combination of old and new; however, the aesthetic chaos of Lisbon only adds to its appeal and its undeniable charm. Bright yellow centenarian trams rattle their way up steep, tree-lined, cobbled streets; ornate ironwork balconies overrun with bougainvillaea sit above elegant outdoor cafes housed in ancient whitewashed, red-roofed stone houses; and a flurry of detailed mosaics decorate the sidewalks. Ancient statues adorn grand squares and hidden gardens. A diverse culinary scene, a plethora of fascinating museums, and numerous castles make it easy to see why Lisbon is one of Europe’s most misunderstood and underrated cities.

Discover the charming town of Sintra, where the royal family once had their summer residence, with an experienced guide. Enjoy typical local pastries and immerse yourself in the historic atmosphere of this unique region.
The tour continues to the spectacular Cabo da Roca viewpoint, the westernmost point of Europe, and the impressive Boca do Inferno rock cliff. Afterward, explore the sophisticated town of Cascais and the elegant gardens surrounding the famous Estoril Casino.
An unforgettable trip along Portugal's most beautiful coastal towns – rich in nature, culture, and history.

Don’t miss the opportunity to sample infamous French cuisine at an array of enticing ‘boulangeries’, ‘patisseries’, and ‘fromageries’.

Day 11 - 13
Florence, the beautiful capital of the Italian region Tuscany, lies in the center of the country. A small city with a big heart, and an even bigger offering of artistic and historical treasures. For centuries, travelers have journeyed to the birthplace of the Renaissance era to marvel at the many masterpieces of architecture and art: Michelangelo's iconic David, the impressive works of Botticelli, the Uffizi Gallery (packed with works by Caravaggio and Da Vinci), and of course, Brunelleschi's remarkable dome — the religious centerpiece of Florence that dominates the skyline. All are absolute must-sees on any itinerary. Once you've ticked off these renowned attractions, you can take a stroll through the vast Boboli Gardens or climb the hill to the church of San Miniato al Monte for a breathtaking view of this beautiful, enchanting city.

This walking tour will show the most fascinating and interesting places of Florence: Repubblica Square, the Cathedral with Brunelleschi’s Dome (exterior), the Baptistery with its famous Gates of Paradise (exterior), Signoria Square with its Palazzo Vecchio (exterior) and Loggia dei Lanzi.
Day 14 - 16

Dominating the Attica region of Greece, the country’s capital, Athens, is one of the oldest cities in the world. For over two and a half centuries, the astonishing Greek temples and monuments of Athens have continued to intrigue and amaze visitors from around the world. This icon of western civilization seamlessly combines ancient history with modern architecture and a surprisingly lively atmosphere. This is particularly apparent in areas at the foot of the Acropolis, Anafiotika, Plaka, Monastiraki, and Thissio where visitors will find numerous extraordinary Neoclassical buildings, trendy and traditional cafes, and shops, and narrow winding streets with historical treasures at every turn. Once you have enjoyed a history and art fix, try some mouth-watering Greek cuisine at one of the city’s fine local restaurants before indulging in the insatiable nightlife at the chic cocktail bars and waterfront dance clubs.

This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contraststhat make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Gamesof modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister's residence (ex-Royal Palace) guarded by the Evzones in their colorful uniform, the Templeof Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and thememorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the GoldenAge of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. With its whitewashed structures topped by bright blue domes, cave house settlements, and network of walking paths, the town offers the quintessential Greek experience. Take the Ekklesia Theoskepasti hiking trail past the thirteenth-century ruins of the Skaros Venetian Fortress, or wander between the enthralling historic churches and cathedrals that dot the town (Ai-Stratis and the Monastery of Saint Nikolaos are particular highlights). An array of guided tours, trips out on the water, and top-notch shops, luxury spas, and highly-acclaimed restaurants complete the package.

We sail along the southern coastline of Santorini, admiring the island’s lunar-like landscape. At the picturesque Red Beach, passengers are welcome to dive into the crystalline waters for a refreshing swim or explore the vibrant seabed. Twenty-one days moving from the Atlantic edge of Portugal to the Aegean caldera — and every stop along the way earns its place. Lisbon's fado-tinged streets, Seville's Moorish courts, Barcelona's architectural invention, Paris's elegance, the Renaissance depth of Florence, Rome's ancient weight, Athens, and finally the volcanic cliffs of Imerovigli: the trip builds and shifts in register so consistently that arriving in Santorini with Lisbon still in your memory feels like genuine travel rather than a sequence of hotel rooms.
What I always tell people about the Seville flamenco show: seek out a smaller venue rather than a large staged production. The intimacy of a thirty-seat tablao in the Santa Cruz quarter changes the experience from a cultural event into something considerably more personal, and the Casa Romana is well-placed to advise on the best options within walking distance.
Hotel: Portugal Boutique City Hotel
Two nights covers the Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais day trip and the Lisbon by Night fado experience. The Alfama is best walked in the late afternoon, when the light catches the tiled facades and the streets are quiet before the evening crowd arrives.
Hotel: Casa Romana Hotel Boutique
Three nights in the Santa Cruz quarter with the tapas tour, the monumental walking tour, and the Ronda and White Villages excursion. Ronda above the El Tajo gorge has a physical drama that no city visit can replicate — give it the full day rather than squeezing it into a half.
Hotel: Hotel Balmoral
The Sagrada Familia and Park Güell tour, the private tapas tour on the first evening, and the paella cooking experience across three days. The tapas tour works best on arrival day, before you've formed any habits about the city's food. The Sagrada Familia interior in the morning light, before the main crowds arrive, is one of the more extraordinary things in contemporary European architecture.
Hotel: Hotel Louison
Hotel Louison in Saint-Germain-des-Prés keeps the Luxembourg Gardens, the Left Bank, and the Seine all on foot. Two nights is enough for the major landmarks and a neighborhood walk, with the evening best spent without a fixed agenda — the café culture in Saint-Germain rewards time that isn't committed to anything specific.
Hotel: Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi Florence Hotel
Three nights with the walking tour, the Tuscany and Pisa excursion, and time in the Oltrarno neighborhood across the stay. What I always tell people about the Uffizi: arrive at opening on a weekday and the Botticelli rooms will be yours for the first twenty minutes — a completely different experience from anything that arrives later in the day.
Hotel: Hotel Diana Roof Garden
The hop-on hop-off tour on arrival day for orientation, the Colosseum and Vatican on separate mornings, and the pizza-making class as a strong second evening. The Hotel Diana's rooftop at the end of a long day in the city puts everything you've covered into perspective.
Hotel: Fresh Hotel
Two nights with the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum visit on the first day and the walking city tour and neighborhoods on the second. The Fresh Hotel's rooftop pool with its direct Acropolis sightline is worth using for a drink before dinner on the first evening.
Hotel: Santorini Palace Hotel
Two nights on the caldera rim with the sunset catamaran cruise and time to explore the villages and local cuisine. For the Oia sunset, position yourself on the path toward the Byzantine castle ruins rather than the main viewpoint — the crowd thins fast once you leave the obvious spot.
The best time to visit these countries depends on your preferences. The shoulder seasons of spring and fall are generally recommended for their pleasant weather and fewer crowds. Spain and Portugal have warm, sunny weather from April to October. Italy is also ideal during this period, and Greece is at its warmest and sunniest from June to September.

The cost of your trip will vary based on your budget and travel style. A mid-range, week-long trip to Portugal costs around $1,000 (excluding flights), Spain is about $1,400, and Italy is about $1,700. A budget-friendly trip to Greece starts at approximately $65 per day.

In Portugal, you can take a vintage streetcar tour in Lisbon. Spain offers visits to the magnificent Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and the Seville Cathedral. In Italy, you can visit the ancient Colosseum in Rome and the Duomo in Florence. Greece has must-see sites like the Acropolis in Athens and the stunning sunsets in Santorini.

Outstanding travel company—would book again anytime

Very friendly and knowledgeable advisor
Top travel company—we’d book again anytime. My travel consultant was very friendly: I shared what we had in mind, and she planned the trip for us. She was also able to make adjustments when something didn’t quite fit—everything went perfectly. Afterwards, customer service took care of us and was quick to help. The trip itself was a dream. It’s also worth mentioning that we had a local guide we could message with any questions. Excellent support, and the Tourlane app was perfect—everything we needed right at hand on our phone. Many thanks to everyone who supported us on this trip.
She listened carefully to all my wishes and ideas, gave me excellent advice, and made everything happen. All my questions were answered, and I feel very well taken care of. Thank you so much!
