The Sagres segway tour covers more ground than it might suggest: the Cape St. Vincent fortress and the clifftop trails above the Atlantic require lateral movement to absorb properly, and doing it on foot in the Algarve heat is a different proposition entirely. The Crete jeep safari earns its full day; the mountain villages and the plateau above Rethymno deliver a landscape the coastal road version of the island never shows. Book the traditional farm dinner on Mykonos before anything else on the island: it fills quickly and offers a side of the place that the waterfront restaurants simply don't reach, and it's the booking I always action first.

Day 1 - 2
Sagres is a scenic fishing village in the southern Algarve of Portugal, in the municipality of Vila do Bispo. Boasting four beaches, enormous cliffs, and a lovely harbour, the town is a serene favourite among outdoor enthusiasts. Praia da Mareta provides a vast stretch of soft sand, is usually sheltered and good for swimming, and is flanked by a line of excellent bars and restaurants. Praia do Tonel offers great waves for surfers, while Praia da Baleeira is reliably sheltered and Praia do Martinhal, just out of town, provides a quiet respite. History enthusiasts will enjoy visiting the 15th-century Fortaleza de Sagres, which uses three 200-foot cliffs as its walls. Make sure to visit ‘the end of the world’ - Cabo de Sao Vicente - the westernmost point of mainland Europe, was once believed to be so and offers some truly awesome views.

This picturesque village is situated in the westernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula and from its rugged cliffs you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view over the coast.
Enjoy this unforgettable tour with an astonishing view to the vast ocean.
Day 3
Dominating the Attica region of Greece, the country’s capital, Athens, is one of the oldest cities in the world. For over two and a half centuries, the astonishing Greek temples and monuments of Athens have continued to intrigue and amaze visitors from around the world. This icon of western civilization seamlessly combines ancient history with modern architecture and a surprisingly lively atmosphere. This is particularly apparent in areas at the foot of the Acropolis, Anafiotika, Plaka, Monastiraki, and Thissio where visitors will find numerous extraordinary Neoclassical buildings, trendy and traditional cafes, and shops, and narrow winding streets with historical treasures at every turn. Once you have enjoyed a history and art fix, try some mouth-watering Greek cuisine at one of the city’s fine local restaurants before indulging in the insatiable nightlife at the chic cocktail bars and waterfront dance clubs.

This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contraststhat make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will takeyou to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Gamesof modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Day 4
Out of all of the Cyclades - the group of islands that surround the sacred Greek island of Delos - Mykonos is perhaps the most famous. It is known for its gorgeous green rolling hills, exquisite beaches and the glamorous, cosmopolitan crowd that typically vacations here. While Mykonos makes for an ideal base for archaeological day trips to the nearby islands, the island itself has plenty to offer. Spend your days exploring the quaint winding alleyways strewn with iconic whitewashed houses; sailing around the picturesque harbour and out into the glistening Aegean Sea; unwinding on the idyllic beaches, and dining in the numerous fine restaurants. If it’s unforgettable nightlife, a bit of luxury, and plenty of natural beauty you are after, Mykonos is undoubtedly the destination for you.

Mykonians love to eat and cook, and that’s why our island is a place where you’ll never feel hungry. Known for rich aromas and authentic flavors, our cuisine is rooted in traditional Greek heritage—and there’s no better place to experience it than at a traditional Mykonian farm. During your visit, you’ll learn the art of Greek cooking, enjoy warm hospitality, and take in the natural beauty of the farm surroundings.

The picturesque Greek town of Rethymno, set on the honey-coloured shores of the northern coast of Crete, offers a rare combination of history and modern-day luxury, with its ornate Venetian-era old town, tropical beaches, welcoming warm water, and mouth-watering Cretan cuisine. Rethymno provides a lively atmosphere and an eclectic mix of architectural gems. Explore alluring museums, beautiful churches, and historically significant landmarks. Most iconic among these are the magical Fortezza of Rethymno, the insightful Archeological Museum, the striking Guora Gate, and the magnificent Municipal Garden. In the heart of the magical old town lies the picture-perfect Venetian Harbour (possibly the most romantic area of the city), travellers can enjoy tavern-lined streets and admire the views over the azure, boat-bobbed waters.

On this tour we would like to introduce you to the secrets of the production of wine and olives through a safari tour that will forever stay in your memories!
Our safari drive begins after we pick you up from your hotel or accommodation, heading towards the Terra Creta olive oil mill for a tour and olive oil tasting. As our day tour continues, we will visit Karavitakis winery for wine tasting accompanied by interesting information, for example the secrets of high longevity in Crete!
Afterwards, we head to the village of Ano Vouves to marvel at the ancient olive tree (3,000 years old) and learn about the history of olives. Our off-road adventure starts as we head towards Sebronas village and cross a gorge with a picturesque creek nestled amongst lush vegetation and panoramic views. Along the gorge, we will have plenty of opportunities to take photos of picturesque chapels, sheep, goats, bees, sprawling vineyards, and gorgeous olive groves.
After working up an appetite, we arrive at a small village tavern in Nea Roumata, where we will introduce you to Cretan cuisine with plenty of local food and let you feel the very essence of the renowned Cretan hospitality. On the way back, we will follow an easy asphalt route through orange and lemon trees before reaching Chania town again.

Sagres at the southwestern tip of Portugal, then Athens, Mykonos, and Crete — seven days that start at the edge of the Atlantic and end above the Libyan Sea. The contrast between Sagres' raw, wind-battered cape and the polished whitewashed lanes of Mykonos is the kind of range that makes a short trip feel genuinely wide.
Sagres earns more than most Algarve itineraries give it. Cape St. Vincent a few kilometers to the north has a physical presence that is hard to prepare for — the cliffs drop directly into the ocean, the wind off the Atlantic is constant, and the lighthouse on the headland is the westernmost point of continental Europe. The Segway tour along the clifftop paths gives you that coastline at a pace that rewards looking rather than navigating.
Hotel: Memmo Baleeira Hotel
Two nights with the Segway tour, the dramatic cliffs and historic fortress, and the local seafood restaurants along the harbor. The Memmo Baleeira sits above the harbor with the Atlantic on three sides — the evening view from the terrace at sunset, with the sea lit from the west, sets the tone for the whole trip.
Hotel: Amalia Hotel Athens
One night with the guided Acropolis visit and the Acropolis Museum, and an evening in the Plaka neighborhood. One day is the minimum Athens deserves, and keeping the focus on the hill and the museum rather than trying to cover more ground is the right call.
Hotel: Vencia Boutique Hotel
One night with the whitewashed streets, the windmills, and the traditional Mykonian farm dinner. Getting into Mykonos Town before the lanes fill in the morning changes how the island reads — the real character of the place lives in the quieter alleys away from the main waterfront, and an evening departure means catching it before it fills again.
Hotel: Grecotel Plaza Beach House
Two nights with the jeep safari and wine and olive tasting experience as the main day. The Venetian harbor and old town fill the remaining time at a walking pace. The lighthouse at the end of the harbor and the Fortezza above the town give Rethymno its historical framing before the beach and the restaurants take over for the evenings.
The best time to travel for this multi-country trip is during the shoulder seasons of spring and fall. These seasons offer a perfect balance of pleasant weather, ideal for exploring the coast of Sagres and the ancient sites of Athens, while also enjoying the beautiful Greek islands of Mykonos and Crete before the intense summer heat.
The cost for this multi-country trip can be tailored to various budgets. On a mid-range budget, a week in Portugal starts at about $1,000 per person, while a week in Greece starts at around $1,100 per person, excluding flights. A budget-friendly trip starts at approximately $55 per day in Portugal and $65 per day in Greece.
This trip is a rich blend of coastal beauty and cultural landmarks. Highlights include the dramatic coastline of Sagres, the ancient Acropolis of Athens, the picturesque villages of Mykonos, and the historical Arkadi Monastery in Crete. For activities, you can take a hike through the Samaria Gorge or a cruise to the beaches of Mykonos.

Outstanding travel company—would book again anytime

Very friendly and knowledgeable advisor
Top travel company—we’d book again anytime. My travel consultant was very friendly: I shared what we had in mind, and she planned the trip for us. She was also able to make adjustments when something didn’t quite fit—everything went perfectly. Afterwards, customer service took care of us and was quick to help. The trip itself was a dream. It’s also worth mentioning that we had a local guide we could message with any questions. Excellent support, and the Tourlane app was perfect—everything we needed right at hand on our phone. Many thanks to everyone who supported us on this trip.
She listened carefully to all my wishes and ideas, gave me excellent advice, and made everything happen. All my questions were answered, and I feel very well taken care of. Thank you so much!
