The paella and tapas cooking class in Barcelona positions the food element at exactly the right moment. By the time the route reaches Lyon and Paris, you have three distinct regional culinary registers to compare rather than simply consuming each one in isolation. Keep the Provence highlights tour from Marseille; it earns the coastal chapter its full texture before Nice, and the Calanques limestone and the Camargue wetlands operate at a completely different scale from the Riviera promenade. For the Versailles day trip, book the first entry slot and route the visit around the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon before the main palace. The contrast between the formal state apartments and Marie Antoinette's garden retreat reveals the full range of the estate in a way the palace-first approach simply doesn't.

The beautiful city of Lisbon lies draped across a string of seven hills on the western Iberian Peninsula and is the westernmost and oldest city in western Europe. Its long and tumultuous history has resulted in an aesthetic characterised by a haphazard combination of old and new; however, the aesthetic chaos of Lisbon only adds to its appeal and its undeniable charm. Bright yellow centenarian trams rattle their way up steep, tree-lined, cobbled streets; ornate ironwork balconies overrun with bougainvillaea sit above elegant outdoor cafes housed in ancient whitewashed, red-roofed stone houses; and a flurry of detailed mosaics decorate the sidewalks. Ancient statues adorn grand squares and hidden gardens. A diverse culinary scene, a plethora of fascinating museums, and numerous castles make it easy to see why Lisbon is one of Europe’s most misunderstood and underrated cities.

Discover the charming town of Sintra, where the royal family once had their summer residence, with an experienced guide. Enjoy typical local pastries and immerse yourself in the historic atmosphere of this unique region.
The tour continues to the spectacular Cabo da Roca viewpoint, the westernmost point of Europe, and the impressive Boca do Inferno rock cliff. Afterward, explore the sophisticated town of Cascais and the elegant gardens surrounding the famous Estoril Casino.
An unforgettable trip along Portugal's most beautiful coastal towns – rich in nature, culture, and history.

Porto to Lisbon to Madrid to Barcelona, then into France through Marseille, Nice, and Lyon to Paris — Europe traveled in the right direction, from the Atlantic edge of Portugal to the heart of France, with the cultural register shifting at every border. The Versailles day trip with skip-the-line access is well-placed at the close: by then you've already covered the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Seine dinner cruise, and the palace's scale rewards more attention than it typically receives from day-trippers.
What I always tell people about the Louvre: start in the Richelieu wing rather than heading straight for the Denon wing where the crowds concentrate. Some of the most significant work in the collection is there, and the galleries are considerably quieter.
Hotel: TURIM Oporto Hotel
The city tour, the fado experience, and the port wine tasting together give two nights in Porto real substance. Port wine is best tasted in the lodge cellars across the river in Vila Nova de Gaia, where you can understand the aging process before the glass arrives. The ribeira waterfront rewards an evening without a plan.
Hotel: Portugal Boutique City Hotel
One day to the Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais circuit, and the other to the walking tour through Alfama and Belém. The fado venues in the Alfama are best experienced after you've walked the neighborhood during the day, because the music lands differently when you know the streets it comes from.
Hotel: H10 Villa de la Reina
Two nights is a focused Madrid stay. The flamenco show works best on the first evening before you've formed any habits about the city. The hotel's proximity to the Prado and the Paseo keeps both days straightforward on foot.
Hotel: Hotel Balmoral
Three nights gives the Gaudí landmarks, the Gothic Quarter, the private tapas tour, and the paella and tapas cooking class each their proper time. The cooking class is worth placing on the last full day — it gives you a hands-on and genuinely enjoyable closing experience before crossing into France.
Hotel: Hotel La Residence du Vieux-Port
Two nights with the Provence highlights tour and time around the Vieux-Port. Marseille is more rewarding than its reputation suggests — the Old Port, the Panier district above it, and the calanques coastline to the south each reveal a different side of the city.
Hotel: Boscolo Nice Hotel & Spa
The French Riviera highlights tour and the Cours Saleya market together give two nights on the coast real texture. The Cours Saleya is best in the early morning before the tourist flow arrives — the flower stalls, the socca vendors, and the produce from the Var countryside are the most honest version of what Nice is still actually about.
Hotel: Fourvière Hotel
Two nights with the Beaujolais wine route and the old town exploration. A dinner in a bouchon lyonnais — quenelles, regional charcuterie, and a carafe of Côtes du Rhône — is the experience this section of the trip is really built around.
Hotel: Hotel Louison
Three nights in Saint-Germain-des-Prés closes the journey well. The Eiffel Tower VIP entry, the Louvre, the Seine dinner cruise, and the Versailles day trip cover Paris and its surroundings at a pace that doesn't compress any of them.

Italy trip
We are once again very satisfied with Tourlane and the collaboration with Ms. Calabrese. She provided me with detailed information and prepared and organized the Italy trip excellently. Happy to book again 😊
It was a very nice trip and overall we are very satisfied. The Tourlane navigation could be a bit more precise. All the hotels were very good 👍 It was a wonderful time that we would happily repeat again and again.
We were interested in a round trip through Italy and shortly after our inquiry we already received an appointment for a consultation. The conversation with our Italy expert, Lara Schmidt, was simply great. She not only took all our wishes into account, but also rightly advised against one or two locations because of the weather/season. Shortly afterwards we received our offer (route, hotels, rental car), and what can we say — we got a perfectly arranged trip that really included and even exceeded all our wishes. That’s why we confirmed the trip with Lara directly in the next call and are super excited. @Lara: A BIG THANK YOU for the great exchange — you do this with so much heart and en...
Lara has organized my IT Trip for summer with my family. She had some many great ideas and provided so much information about the different regions. I´m really looking forward! Thank you Lara :-)
