My go-to recommendation for the Champagne excursion: the major houses like Moët and Veuve Clicquot are polished and worth visiting, but if your guide has access to a smaller grower-producer — what the French call a récoltant-manipulant — try to include that stop. You will taste wines that never leave the region, and the conversation is far more personal than any large-scale cellar tour.
The Eiffel Tower VIP entry and the Louvre "Must Sees" visit protect your mornings from long waits and keep the pace of the week from stalling on queues. The Seine dinner cruise works best on the final evening, when the city is familiar enough to appreciate from the water. The Montmartre food tour rounds the week out well: a guided route through local producers and quieter streets cuts through the neighborhood's more touristy surface effectively.
