Ronda from Málaga is the call that gives the Andalusia leg its geographic range: the gorge and the Puente Nuevo above the cliffs are things the coastal promenade simply cannot provide. For flamenco in Seville, a small tablao in Triana over any large venue near the cathedral; the proximity to the performers and the acoustic intimacy are what make it genuine. The Crete jeep safari earns its full day: the mountain villages above Rethymno and the plateau toward the White Mountains are an island moving at a completely different pace from the coastal hotels.

Then, soak in the grandeur of the expansive Plaza de España, a stunning architectural masterpiece.

Meet your local guide to enjoy the most inescapable element of Spanish cuisine: Tapas tour, popular all over the world. In all Spain's cities you will find bars, taverns & markets specialized in tapas. Spend few hours escorted by an expert guide who will point out little-known cultural and gastronomic landmarks, while listening to stories and legends of this tapas culture during the tour. Day 4 - 6
Resting on the exquisite Costa del Sol in the south of Spain, Malaga is a bustling port city known for its yellow-sand beaches lined with luxury high-rise hotels and resorts. For many visitors, Malaga is simply a gateway to the beach resorts of the Costa del Sol, but those who linger will find a cosmopolitan cultural hub complete with a thriving art scene, a slew of fascinating museums and an endless array of culinary delights. Presiding over the city’s modern skyline are two enormous ancient hilltop citadels, the ruined Gibralfaro and the 11th-century Moorish palace of Alcazaba, which holds several ancient artefacts. Other must-see sights include an impressive Renaissance Cathedral, the beautiful remains of an old Roman theatre, and La Conception Botanical and Historical Garden, offering lovely panoramic views of the city below.

Upon arrival in Gibraltar, a local guide will meet you and take you on a guided city tour. You’ll visit the Gibraltar harbor, the walled old town, Europa Point, and St. Michael’s Cave. Then, you’ll climb to the highest publicly accessible point on the Rock of Gibraltar. From there, enjoy stunning views of the Mediterranean, Spain, and Morocco. Watch and photograph the wild monkeys, known as Barbary Apes. Since they are wild animals, it’s advised not to get too close, feed, or touch them. After the tour, you’ll have free time for lunch (not included). Then stroll along Main Street and take advantage of duty-free shopping. Meet your guide at the agreed time for the return trip.
Day 7 - 8
Dominating the Attica region of Greece, the country’s capital, Athens, is one of the oldest cities in the world. For over two and a half centuries, the astonishing Greek temples and monuments of Athens have continued to intrigue and amaze visitors from around the world. This icon of western civilization seamlessly combines ancient history with modern architecture and a surprisingly lively atmosphere. This is particularly apparent in areas at the foot of the Acropolis, Anafiotika, Plaka, Monastiraki, and Thissio where visitors will find numerous extraordinary Neoclassical buildings, trendy and traditional cafes, and shops, and narrow winding streets with historical treasures at every turn. Once you have enjoyed a history and art fix, try some mouth-watering Greek cuisine at one of the city’s fine local restaurants before indulging in the insatiable nightlife at the chic cocktail bars and waterfront dance clubs.

This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Gamesof modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister's residence (ex-Royal Palace) guarded by the Evzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and thememorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The new Acropolis Museum.
Day 9 - 10
Out of all of the Cyclades - the group of islands that surround the sacred Greek island of Delos - Mykonos is perhaps the most famous. It is known for its gorgeous green rolling hills, exquisite beaches and the glamorous, cosmopolitan crowd that typically vacations here. While Mykonos makes for an ideal base for archaeological day trips to the nearby islands, the island itself has plenty to offer. Spend your days exploring the quaint winding alleyways strewn with iconic whitewashed houses; sailing around the picturesque harbour and out into the glistening Aegean Sea; unwinding on the idyllic beaches, and dining in the numerous fine restaurants. If it’s unforgettable nightlife, a bit of luxury, and plenty of natural beauty you are after, Mykonos is undoubtedly the destination for you.

Olive oil has been at the heart of Greek culture and cuisine since ancient times. Homer praised it as “Liquid Gold,” while Hippocrates called it the “Great Healer.” Rich in antioxidants, fatty acids, and vitamins, it is considered the healthiest fat on earth and a cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet.
In this activity, you will be guided by expert olive oil taster Anita Zachou to explore the aromas and flavors of some of Greece’s finest Extra Virgin Olive Oils. You’ll learn how to taste properly, understand what makes an oil “extra virgin,” and describe it using terms like fruity, bitter, and spicy. You’ll also discover how to identify high-quality oils versus defective ones, and gain insights into the health and beauty benefits of Extra Virgin Olive Oil that can enhance your daily life.
Led by Anita Zachou—agricultural engineer, certified olive oil taster, holistic wellness coach, and founder of Mykonos Olive Oil Tasting—this unique experience is both educational and enjoyable, perfect to share with family and friends.

Day 11 - 15
The picturesque Greek town of Rethymno, set on the honey-coloured shores of the northern coast of Crete, offers a rare combination of history and modern-day luxury, with its ornate Venetian-era old town, tropical beaches, welcoming warm water, and mouth-watering Cretan cuisine. Rethymno provides a lively atmosphere and an eclectic mix of architectural gems. Explore alluring museums, beautiful churches, and historically significant landmarks. Most iconic among these are the magical Fortezza of Rethymno, the insightful Archeological Museum, the striking Guora Gate, and the magnificent Municipal Garden. In the heart of the magical old town lies the picture-perfect Venetian Harbour (possibly the most romantic area of the city), travellers can enjoy tavern-lined streets and admire the views over the azure, boat-bobbed waters.

On this tour we would like to introduce you to the secrets of the production of wine and olives through a safari tour that will forever stay in your memories!
Our safari drive begins after we pick you up from your hotel or accommodation, heading towards the Terra Creta olive oil mill for a tour and olive oil tasting. As our day tour continues, we will visit Karavitakis winery for wine tasting accompanied by interesting information, for example the secrets of high longevity in Crete!
Afterwards, we head to the village of Ano Vouves to marvel at the ancient olive tree (3,000 years old) and learn about the history of olives. Our off-road adventure starts as we head towards Sebronas village and cross a gorge with a picturesque creek nestled amongst lush vegetation and panoramic views. Along the gorge, we will have plenty of opportunities to take photos of picturesque chapels, sheep, goats, bees, sprawling vineyards, and gorgeous olive groves.
After working up an appetite, we arrive at a small village tavern in Nea Roumata, where we will introduce you to Cretan cuisine with plenty of local food and let you feel the very essence of the renowned Cretan hospitality. On the way back, we will follow an easy asphalt route through orange and lemon trees before reaching Chania town again.

Moving from Seville and Malaga to Athens, then east through Mykonos to Rethymno in Crete, this trip covers considerable ground without feeling rushed. The contrast between Andalusia and the Aegean is the whole point — the Moorish heritage of southern Spain and the ancient Greek world are both deeply layered, and placing them back to back in the same journey sharpens your understanding of both.
What I find particularly well-considered here is the four nights in Rethymno at the close. Most Greece itineraries treat Crete as a beach finale, but Rethymno's Venetian old town and the jeep safari into the island's interior give those final days a cultural and physical depth that a pure beach stay rarely provides.
Hotel: Casa Romana Hotel Boutique
The Casa Romana Hotel Boutique sits in the Santa Cruz quarter, within walking distance of the Cathedral, the Alcázar, and the tapas bars on Calle Mateos Gago. The monumental walking tour is best done in the cooler morning hours — Seville in summer is hot by midday, and the historic center reads better when you're not competing with the heat. The flamenco experience is worth seeking in a smaller venue rather than a large staged production; the intimacy changes the whole character of it.
Hotel: Barceló Malaga
The day trip to Ronda and the white villages is the highlight of the Malaga section. Ronda's position above the El Tajo gorge is one of the most dramatic natural settings of any town in Spain, and the drive through the Serranía de Ronda on the way there rewards a slow pace. Malaga's Picasso Museum and historic center make a strong counterpoint to the countryside excursions, and the Barceló's central position makes both easy to reach on foot.
Hotel: Amalia Hotel Athens
Two nights is enough to cover the Acropolis and museum properly and have an evening free for Plaka and a traditional dinner on the slopes below the hill. The Amalia's location near Syntagma Square makes the main landmarks straightforward on foot, and the rooftop view is a reliable orientation point after a full day in the city.
Hotel: Vencia Boutique Hotel
The olive oil tasting is what separates this stop from a purely cosmetic island visit. Mykonos has a genuine agricultural tradition behind its more photographed surface, and engaging with it directly changes how the island reads. The Vencia Boutique's central position makes the windmills and whitewashed streets easy for mornings, the beaches useful for afternoons, and the waterfront straightforward for evenings.
Hotel: Grecotel Plaza Beach House
Four nights in Rethymno is time well spent. The Venetian old town — its lighthouse, harbor, and narrow lanes — is one of the best-preserved in the eastern Mediterranean. The Grecotel Plaza Beach House gives you immediate beach access alongside easy proximity to the town center. The jeep safari into the Cretan interior is the experience I'd highlight most: the mountain villages, the olive groves, and the gorge landscapes that open up away from the coast reveal the island's character in ways that beach time and town walks simply cannot.
The best time to travel for this multi-country trip is during the shoulder seasons of spring and fall. These seasons offer a perfect balance of warm, dry weather, ideal for exploring cities like Seville and Athens, while also enjoying the coastal beauty of Malaga and the Greek islands before the intense summer heat.
The cost for this multi-country trip can be tailored to various budgets. On a mid-range budget, a week in Spain starts at about $1,400 per person, while a week in Greece starts at around $1,100 per person, excluding flights. A budget-friendly trip starts at approximately $90 per day in Spain and $65 per day in Greece.
This trip is a rich blend of cultures, art, and coastal landscapes. Highlights include the royal fortress of the Alhambra in Granada, the ancient Acropolis in Athens, and the famous windmills and beaches of Mykonos. For activities, you can attend a flamenco show in Seville, a boat trip from Malaga to see dolphins, a cooking class in Paros, or a hike through the Samaria Gorge.
