The geographic arc from Barcelona through Rome and Athens to Santorini, then Paris and London, is what gives this itinerary its internal logic, and it's the reason I designed it in this direction rather than the reverse. Mediterranean heat and ancient ruins accumulate across the first ten days, and the shift to Parisian boulevards is one of the sharper gear changes on any two-week European circuit. With two nights in Rome, skip the hop-on hop-off and walk Palatine Hill in the late afternoon followed by Trastevere at dusk; both neighborhoods read best at that hour, and doing them consecutively gives you ancient and everyday Rome without competing for the same morning slot. For Santorini, book the sunset catamaran first and build the island days around the time slot you get; it earns more than any wine tasting or village walk on the schedule.

Day 1 - 2
Set on Spain’s gorgeous southeastern coast, the capital and largest city of the Catalonia region, Barcelona, is an exquisite, seaside metropolis. With its dizzying array of architecture and its world-class galleries and museums, artistic delights abound at every corner (most strikingly in the astonishingly whimsical structures designed by the prolific modernist architect Antoni Gaudi). Explore the winding alleys of the picturesque Gothic Quarter, take in the boisterous carnival atmosphere of the world famous, tree-lined La Rambla boulevard, or go on a gastronomical adventure through the city's restaurants. Head to one of the gorgeous white sandy beaches and when the sun sets, join the eclectic all-night party scene. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the phenomenal Sagrada Familia, take in an opera at the sublime Palau de la Musica Catalana, and watch a game at the famous Camp Nou stadium.

Join an English-speaking guided tour to discover two of Antoni Gaudí’s most iconic works: the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell.
Begin at Park Güell, located in a unique area with stunning views over the city. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, the park was originally conceived as a residential project before becoming a public space. Explore the monumental area with your guide and admire Gaudí’s mastery. See how he blended architecture and nature through his organic, naturalistic style.
At the appointed time, a transfer will take you to the Sagrada Familia. Enter this breathtaking monument and discover why it’s the ultimate must-see landmark in Barcelona. Learn about its history and symbolism with your local guide, and marvel at the interior—richly inspired by natural forms and spiritual meaning.
Day 3 - 4
Florence, the beautiful capital of the Italian region Tuscany, lies in the center of the country. A small city with a big heart, and an even bigger offering of artistic and historical treasures. For centuries, travelers have journeyed to the birthplace of the Renaissance era to marvel at the many masterpieces of architecture and art: Michelangelo's iconic David, the impressive works of Botticelli, the Uffizi Gallery (packed with works by Caravaggio and Da Vinci), and of course, Brunelleschi's remarkable dome — the religious centerpiece of Florence that dominates the skyline. All are absolute must-sees on any itinerary. Once you've ticked off these renowned attractions, you can take a stroll through the vast Boboli Gardens or climb the hill to the church of San Miniato al Monte for a breathtaking view of this beautiful, enchanting city.

This walking tour will show the most fascinating and interesting places of Florence: Repubblica Square, the Cathedral with Brunelleschi’s Dome (exterior), the Baptistery with its famous Gates of Paradise (exterior), Signoria Square with its Palazzo Vecchio (exterior) and Loggia dei Lanzi.
Day 5 - 6
Experience Rome, the bustling capital of Italy. This city, rich with exciting history and culture, offers an unparalled mix of ancient explorations and modern living. Immerse yourself in the past and explore the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Vatican. Wander through other must-see destinations like The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon. Experiencing the culinary scene is a delight, from traditional pasta to world-renowned Italian gelati. You can explore daily markets such as Campo de' Fiori for local ingredients and fresh food. A stay in Rome promises great experiences all year round, but it is advisable to take seasonality into account. While spring (April–May) and fall (September–October) offer pleasant weather and less crowds, summer (June–August) has a lively, spirited atmosphere — but can also be hot. No matter when you go, visiting Rome promises an unforgettable journey through the centuries. The unique combination of a rich historical past mixed into a thriving and vibrant modern community makes Italy's Eternal City one of the world's most intriguing and inspiring tourist destinations.

Create a customized tour of Rome’s must-see attractions. Settle into our comfortable double-decker pink buses and listen to the audio guide for a tour you will never forget. Spend as long as you like at each site with buses running every 15/20 minutes throughout the day.

Day 7 - 8
Dominating the Attica region of Greece, the country’s capital, Athens, is one of the oldest cities in the world. For over two and a half centuries, the astonishing Greek temples and monuments of Athens have continued to intrigue and amaze visitors from around the world. This icon of western civilization seamlessly combines ancient history with modern architecture and a surprisingly lively atmosphere. This is particularly apparent in areas at the foot of the Acropolis, Anafiotika, Plaka, Monastiraki, and Thissio where visitors will find numerous extraordinary Neoclassical buildings, trendy and traditional cafes, and shops, and narrow winding streets with historical treasures at every turn. Once you have enjoyed a history and art fix, try some mouth-watering Greek cuisine at one of the city’s fine local restaurants before indulging in the insatiable nightlife at the chic cocktail bars and waterfront dance clubs.

This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contraststhat make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Gamesof modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister's residence (ex-Royal Palace) guarded by the Evzones in their colorful uniform, the Templeof Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and thememorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). Day 9 - 10
Nicknamed the ‘Balcony to the Aegean’, Imerovigli is a captivating village on the northern coast of Santorini, set 3.5 kilometres from the island’s capital, Fira. This ancient settlement offers inspiring views of the volcano, caldera, and, at one time, approaching pirates. With its whitewashed structures topped by bright blue domes, cave house settlements, and network of walking paths, the town offers the quintessential Greek experience. Take the Ekklesia Theoskepasti hiking trail past the thirteenth-century ruins of the Skaros Venetian Fortress, or wander between the enthralling historic churches and cathedrals that dot the town (Ai-Stratis and the Monastery of Saint Nikolaos are particular highlights). An array of guided tours, trips out on the water, and top-notch shops, luxury spas, and highly-acclaimed restaurants complete the package.

We sail along the southern coastline of Santorini, admiring the island’s lunar-like landscape. At the picturesque Red Beach, passengers are welcome to dive into the crystalline waters for a refreshing swim or explore the vibrant seabed. We then continue toward White Beach, the Black Mountain, and the Lighthouse at the southern edge of the Caldera. The journey continues to the volcanic islands and the famous Hot Springs. While anchored, a delicious meal is served on board, accompanied by wine and dessert.

Day 13 - 15
Discover the legendary capital of the United Kingdom, a vibrant metropolis where history and diversity flourish. As you explore, you'll encounter iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, the historic Tower of London, and the breathtaking London Eye. Immerse yourself in world-class culture at the British Museum and the Tate Modern, offering endless artistic and historical treasures. The renowned West End theater scene promises unforgettable evenings, while the tranquil expanses of Hyde Park provide a welcome escape from the city's energy. Come and experience the captivating allure of London.

Experience a ride on the tallest observation wheel in Europe and take in breathtaking 360-degree views of London. From the top, admire iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, and the Houses of Parliament, along with a patchwork panorama of London that can stretch up to 40 kilometers, reaching as far as Windsor Castle on clear days.
The 32 capsules, each representing one of the 32 London boroughs, can accommodate a total of 800 people and move at a leisurely pace of 26 centimeters per second. Initially constructed as a temporary attraction for the millennium, the London Eye has become a permanent fixture, attracting more visitors than world-famous sites like the Taj Mahal and the Pyramids of Giza.

Barcelona to Florence to Rome, then east to Athens and Santorini before turning north to Paris and London — a journey that covers the full sweep of the continent from the Mediterranean to the Channel. Two nights in each city is a pace that demands selectivity, and that constraint is actually what keeps the trip feeling like travel rather than a checklist.
What I always tell people about Imerovigli: it gives you the same caldera views as Fira with considerably less foot traffic outside your door. The catamaran cruise at sunset — the caldera wall on one side, the open Aegean on the other — is the experience that tends to stay with people longest after the trip is over.
Hotel: Hotel 1898
Two nights with the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell on the first day, and Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter on the second. The Sagrada Familia interior at opening, before the main crowds arrive, is an entirely different experience from a midday visit — the light through the colored glass on the nave floor is one of the more extraordinary things in contemporary European architecture.
Hotel: Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi Florence Hotel
Two nights covers the Duomo, the historic center, and a focused gallery visit. The walking tour is best placed on the second day, when the city is already familiar enough that the guide can take you off the main route. Tuscan cuisine rewards any evening spent without a reservation — the trattorias in the Oltrarno neighborhood operate without the tourist markup of the streets nearest the Uffizi.
Hotel: Hotel Diana Roof Garden
The hop-on hop-off tour on arrival day is the practical way to find your bearings before committing to the major sites. Two nights in Rome is tight, so keeping the focus on the Colosseum, the Vatican, and the surrounding piazzas is the right call. The Hotel Diana's rooftop is worth a drink at the end of a long day — the city spread out below puts everything into perspective.
Hotel: Fresh Hotel
The Acropolis and its museum fill a proper first day in Athens. On the second, leave the monuments behind and spend the time in the neighborhoods — Psirri, Monastiraki, the Plaka — where the city's daily character is more legible than it is at the ancient sites.
Hotel: Santorini Palace Hotel
Two nights on the caldera rim with the sunset catamaran cruise on the first evening. The village excursion and local wine experience fill the second day well. Santorini's volcanic-soil Assyrtiko — grown in low basket vines and producing a mineral quality found nowhere else — is a wine with a genuine identity, and tasting it in context makes that clear.
Hotel: Hotel Louison
Hotel Louison is in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, with the Luxembourg Gardens, the Left Bank, and the Seine all on foot. Two nights covers the major landmarks and a neighborhood walk at an honest pace. The evening is best spent without a fixed agenda — the café culture in Saint-Germain rewards time that isn't committed to anything specific.
Hotel: Clayton Hotel City of London
Two nights at the Clayton Hotel, well-placed for both the South Bank and the East End. The London Eye is best at dusk with fast-track entry. The Thames riverside from Waterloo Bridge, with the city on both sides, is the simplest and most effective way to understand London's geography in a short stay.
The best time to visit these cities is generally in the shoulder seasons of spring and fall for pleasant weather and fewer crowds. Spain and Italy have warm, sunny weather from April to October. Greece is also ideal during this period, and England is at its warmest and sunniest from June to September.
