The main travel season depends on planned activities and vacation schedules. In winter, visitors come to escape the cold, and the island is always busy during the Easter, Christmas, and summer breaks.
In spring and fall, conditions for outdoor activities are ideal. For beach vacationers, the best time to visit Lanzarote is between March and October. With temperatures between 68 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit, you can swim in the ocean, relax on the beach, or experience nature while hiking, cycling, or diving. The long days also offer plenty of time to explore Lanzarote's many sights and attractions. Many cultural events and festivals also take place between March and October, such as the Fiesta de San Juan in Haría or Easter celebrations.

Lanzarote in the high season
Most visitors come either in winter to soak up some warmth or during the summer vacations, i.e. in July and August. However, Lanzarote is a popular destination for outdoor activities all year round, so you can also go hiking in winter, even if it can occasionally rain. In midsummer, however, it can get too hot, which is why it is better to refrain from longer hikes.
